Mrs Comfort Adjahoe-Jennings is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Ele Agbe Company Ltd, a Shea butter, handicrafts, and local beads Jewelry production an export company in Ghana. Ele Agbe was initially started as a small enterprise in 1996. Today, Ele Agbe produces a variety of body creams, soaps, lotion bars, body oils and lip balms from Shea butter as its main business that are exported to the US, UK, Canada, Australia and Japanese markets. Ele Agbe is a social enterprise that believes in giving back to society. Over the years, Comfort, has trained over 1000+ people, including adults and children at schools through her company. She has also organised yearly medical missions with other partners to help the needy in the rural areas of Ghana. Mrs Adjahoe-Jennings has run Ele Agbe for 25 years. During this time, she has participated in several trade shows in the US and Japan. In this time Ele Agbe she has built into a high-quality Shea butter cosmetics company that exports internationally but still works with a network of women Shea nut pickers and processors in northern Ghana. She has also organised rural Ghanaian women into cooperatives to enable them to produce and supply products to her company Mrs Adjahoe-Jennings is a US State Department Alumni of AWEP IVLP. She is the co-founder (with her husband Dr Brian Jennings) of the Godhead Foundation that currently focuses on mentoring leaders and young adults, community engagement and empowering of women and children. She is also the President of the African Women`s Entrepreneurship Program, West Africa Region and immediate past President of Africa Women`s Entrepreneurship Program, Ghana Chapter. She is completed ‘Leading and Flourishing in Difficult Times’ online course with the Oxford Character Project.
